I just got the special fares from Southwest this morning. Flights from Denver, Dallas, Midland/Odessa and El Paso are $49 one way. These are the click-and-save specials you get on Tuesday on the internet.

Subject: [papercreters] Speaking of Airline Flights
I noticed that quite a few of Southwest's current special rates must be purchased before July 30. There are a lot of ONE WAY fares for $99 if you can travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays only. $125 for one way for travel on any day except Sunday.
I can think of worse places to spend a week from Wednesday through Tuesday than in the High Desert of New Mexico. Some people might be interested in seeing a few more sites around Abiquiu and Albequerque. Nothing wrong with going more places during your trip than just seeing papercrete.
I'm not trying to promote any particular travel method, or airline, but if someone is planning on flying on Southwest Air to get to the September Gathering, you might want to double check and see if it makes sense to purchase your tickets within the next 2 days to get the best rates. Obviously this won't impact everyone.
