As the crow flies it's only 19 miles but that is deceiving.
It is a 1 hour ride from Los Alamos to my place, down and around the mountains. Gorgeous ride though.
Dogs are not totally banned if they are well behaved and there is no alternative but to bring them.

still trying to decide how to make the trip from here.
I also have a problem, d.o.g. (our adopted street dog) had surgery/recovery, sitter problem. Hope Shadow is improving.
One question, Judith, how long a drive is it from Los Alamos?? Free
