RE: [papercreters] mixers

A Heavy duty low RPM ½” Drill Motor with a shaft, ½” Allthread and some 1” x ¼” flat stock slightly shorter than the the diameter of the bottom of the bucket.  Drill a hole in center and thread to ½”.   Lock in place on shaft with ½” nuts either side of blade.  A 5 gallon Bucket is best.  It takes a few seconds to mix up a batch.  It’s best to have a bucket break to keep the bucket from spinning.

This is called a Onebone on the FC group named after the inventor.  It works well for mortar and concrete as well.

·                            What would you suggest using as a mixer for someone just starting and starting small. Stepping stones etc.
I read on another web site that blenders could be used but that sounds like they would be ruined.
Thanks
