It is extremely easy to destroy a blender by using it to make
papercrete. I've used a blender for making very tiny batches for
experiments. It doesn't work at all well if you desire a thick
sticky mix, no matter what the batch size.
The beginning mixer is often the simple bucket, drill, and some kind
of homemade mixer blade chucked up into the drill. It's a very
effective technique.
Before anyone tries using a bucket to make papercrete, I strongly
