What a great idea.
A tailored tow mixer that can run with a PTO. You will need to activate the break on the other side to keep it from wandering, and an extendable PTO shaft will make hook up easier. I’ve seen saw mills set up like that.
Question
Is there a problem running blades that are just shy of the edge of the tank? I’m assuming a centered blade of course.

That is my long range plan. I figure to get the mixer working first then just add brackets outside of one of the wheels. Weld up a PTO shaft to a plate which will bolt on to the wheel studs. Once the tractor 3pt hitch is connected it should hold the tank steady.
But this is all working in the perfectness of my mind without having been tried.

I turned my F-150 differential counter clockwise 90 deg.
McCain stopped by my last place last month and the first thing he said about my mixer was to get a baffle in as well as a longer blade. Unless you are careful about the tank placement it will likely come out off center. Mine always have.
One more questions for this thread on mixers. Any good photos of PTO based mixers? I've wrecked my leg by driving a manual truck and holding the clutch partially in for hours a day. It's time to sell my truck and get something with a PTO port for mixing.
