Hi There;

Well, I can say that an appropriate mix of fibre, portl'd, lime, clay,
sand has some very interesting attributes; the first is that the common
shrinkage problems become non-existent, and the adhesive quality is
ni-on to super natural! I apply my mix directly to the slick sides
(bales stacked on edge) of strawbales and it does not crack. Saves many
many dollars and hassles associated with wire or netting.

Using this mix over wire armatures (ferro-cement technique) has now for
years shown no cracking at all!? I always use a 3 coat method and on the
final color/ texture coat I add discarded latex that is free for the
taking. Quickens curing time significantly and adds considerably to
moisture resistence.
