I agree. Anything that will allow soaking and agitating is an
'appropriate mixer'.
The only 'standard mixer' seems to be a large tank and does seem appropriate
for many people that want to make fairly large quantities of papercrete.

IMHO, using what you have or building what you need no matter the size is the
true 'appropriate mixer'.

Noting against anyone that wants to make any kind of 'appropriate
mixer'. To me
using the right tool for the right job is good. But if I am going to
do something other
than 'the standard job', a different tool may be better for me at the time.
