No I read whole posts between members that I had responded to, and they had been posted to the web.

As in maybe a blog .  So this group allows nonmembers to read?  My other groups you have to be a member.

I am guessing it is because people that are not members of this group can read all group messages without joining the group.


So if you post your more confidential information, it is available for non-members to read also, including 'bots'.
