[papercreters] Re: Side Slipforming

Those are some really nice forms. They should last a lifetime with a little rust prevention. I guess I missed it when you said how your are going to fill between the blocks, or is that where the T lock comes in?

No you didn't miss it yet because I haven't shown how simple this process will be. The great thing about these forms is they only require 6 pieces of red iron, I've only shown 4 to start out with. They only require eight 2" wood screws, eight metal screws your choice and two 2x6 cut to the length of the red iron width (i.e. 12" wide or 6" wide or what ever) The skirts that I have not shown yet will not be screwed or welded but clamped and each form will require 4 clamps of some sort, they can be any length up to 30" and if less than 30" can be placed anywhere on the bottom of the form.  You will wonder why somebody didn't think of this years ago, it is so simple. The thing I love about the idea is old farts like myself don't have to man handle anything over 30 lbs., and you don't have to wait weeks for stuff to dry, and you don't have to know how to morter blocks and you don't have to mix morter, just pour and move the forms.
