They're too small to be really useful for the size batches I'll be doing . . . I'd have to do small batches . . . but it's a really good thought.

Poly grain bags allow moisture to pass through and are really strong and, if you are anywhere near livestock operations, I'd bet they'd be glad to give them to you. They do break down if left in the sun. I am forever trying to find new jobs for ours. Could that work?
