[papercreters] Re: Formula

If the centrifuge were perforated like most washing machine tubs, and
lined with screen, it would probably work really well to drain the
papercrete. It would also compress it.

However, when you remove it from your centrifuge it would crumble
apart. I've found that it is important that there be sufficent water
in the slurry when it is formed and/or compressed for it to hold
together. If it is drained too much you get voids inside which weaken
it considerably.

I think the best practical method to speed things along is to compress
the slurry into the form. This squeezes out a lot of the excess water
and matts down the paper fibers helping them bond together a lot better
making the papercrete significantly stronger.
