[papercreters] Re: off topic???

is this discussion referring to Wood Gasification Furnace/boiler?

These are essentially a double chamber furnace. The main wood (or
other fuel) chamber is heated by the lower burn chamber, vaporizing
the wood above. The smokey gasses are fed into the main burn chamber
under the wood chamber where the combustion is controlled similar to a
conventional gas furnace.

Woodgas Furnaces are available commercially, but are expensive.
Originally these were intended to be home built. The temperature in
the lower chamber is extremely hot, enough to give a complete
combustion of creosote as well as all VOCs.

Mother Earth News and other sources advertises plans and kits for the
DIYer. Efficiencies can run over 90% when used to heat water!
