I was wondering what you found in Silver City. I am in the permit process now for an adobe and want to use papercrete as insulation. This info will help for sure. So you never found the guys who were making and selling blocks commercially? Hope you and Gib are well. Judith

Subject: [papercreters] Re: Sun City Article
I found the Silver City Sun-News papercrete article through Google cache:If that link doesn't work, I can reprint the article.By the way, I tried to locate these guys when I visited Silver City last month. I had forgotten to bring my copy of the article, so I didn't have their names. I couldn't find anything resembling a papercrete factory anywhere. I finally stopped in at a green building supply store downtown, and they had kinda sorta heard of those guys, but they had not gotten their project off the ground.Turns out there was a papercrete house being built a couple of blocks away from the store where I got the info, so I walked over there. Pretty cool. It's being built in a "normal" neighborhood of stick frame houses. Papercrete is allowed under the Silver City building code, so y'all might want to get a copy of it.Melody in TX
