Mikey reading about your and other people efforts to pump PC I
would like to redirect your attention to other types of pumps like the
ropepump, the peristaltic hose pump, the archimedes screw, and a type
of screw tranportation system used in agriculture to move grains in a
silo but also in the industry to move wet mixtures from one place to
another horizontal and vertical.
When thinking about the screw type I even think that this has a lot to
offer for "pumping PC" and probably even can be made by yourself. With
this system you can start the transport with slurry with a higher
water content and possibly at the end of the tube a lot of the water
stays behind.
If you need some more explanation and/or pictures about this let me know.
