Hi,
I built a 600 sq-ft garage with an attic.
I've been experimenting with different homemade sprayers and working on a recipe for sprayable papercrete to use as insulation. Papercrete by it's self does not stick very well. After much research and checking out the material data safety sheets of cellulose insulation companies to find out what they use in their product, I came up with a mixture of about 20 lbs shredded paper (newspaper - breaks down the best), 2 cups of Borax (as a fire retardant) and 2 to 4 cups of flour as a glue.
My homemade sprayer did not work out so I ordered a mortar sprayer.
If anyone has a proven recipe I would like to hear about it.
Thanks Dave
