[papercreters] Re: Clay versus cement

Our recipe WAS (yeah! We are finished with the papercreting!):

5 parts clay, 5 parts paper and 1 part Portland cement.

We also added a few shakes of Borax to prevent mold.

As for fireproofing, we tested a block and it wouldn't catch even
though we held a flame to it for several minutes. It smoldered for
about a minute then self-extinguished.

We have lots more photos we want to add to the website but have been
busy with our real jobs!

However, we do have one good photo on the homepage we hope you'll
check it out at www.builtfromtrash.com.

For all of you who have written to us and did not get a reply, we DID
respond but we were doing it all wrong and Jay just taught us how to post.

Sorry!
