[papercreters] decorative MOLDS- wiggle WORMS

Slurrypup said- If I wanted to get to know a girl, putting
earthworms on her leg isn't the best
technique. Ah yes, the lessons we learn at age 7.

Isn't there a 1970s song? something like " I dont like spiders &
snakes, and that ain't what it takes to love me?
I remember the singer wiggling worms at girls..silly song.

( and I learned in the 3rd grade that winning over boys at
arm-wrestling was not socially acceptable any longer)

OK there are a TON of readymade molds out there. I bought a plastic
stepping stone mold with an Orca in the center, I had planned a Pcrete
version of it as a garden art piece

The cement industry has thousand of ready made great molds to buy
online-.. and a whole section of the trade has big rubber flat molds
to make those artsy driveway patterns: ie Londonstone, cobblestone,
etc. I also bought a few cheaper plastic "brick" forms to pour PC mix
in - you do it right on site, it levels itself, and then add sand as
mortar between the grout lines ( for outdoor use only)

It costs a fortune for the materials (~$500) to make ONE large
resin/rubber mold...but I bet this group can experiment with other
materials to create the "copy" molds ( trees, etc) Those NEW silicon
ice cube trays and cake pans are pricey-- but great to make papercrete
objects ( I have heart shaped ice trays) you just pop the cured
objects out, and reuse

Metal cake pans with decorative shapes are cheap- I bought a ton of
metal pumpkin/pattern pans, and give them to Pcrete book buyers this
time of year. ( end of year clearance sales- a $12. pan is $.50 cents,
also Dollar stores have them. Also bunny rabbit pans make cute step
stones, just spray with Pam-type product as the release, or use a
plastic bag as a liner.

This is ONE area that would need higher cement added, and SEALER for
sure to make the item last.
