In an earlier post I asked about clay versus cement in PC for fire
resistance. Does anyone have any comparison information regarding this?
It has been pointed out that cement doesn't add much in the way of strength
and is primarily that of flame resistance. Sand also being a detriment to
smoldering it seems to me that clay might in actuality be a better
alternative. Is this a misconception on my part?
