One of the things I have found out is if you compress the PC the blocks size tends to remain more stable as they dry. I also use larger material to mix with the PC. The compressed blocks are denser than normal PC but still quite light. They are also tougher than woodpecker lips. You are not going to break one of these over your knee. I am using a hand tamper to compress them and am looking at making a hydraulic press to make the squeeze. The blocks drop out of the form.
