Ah, I gotcha now. Much safer than I had envisioned. Only thing I can
think of (other than custom welding, as Bob suggested) would be the
rollers from a junked newsprint machine or a high speed inserter (old
Bell Howell, maybe). If you find one rated for 30k documents an hour,
it should be able to handle the stresses (up to about 5 mph), but not
sure about price.
