[papercreters] form blocks for PC- wet idea?

HI.. those foam and hard forms that cement is poured into can not work
as the top layer of wet PC is constantly draining down into the
previous layer, and keeping it wet.

if a single PC block- laying on a screen, needs a month-6 weeks in
SUMMER to cure and dry, then a tall wall will never dry as the top is
always soaking to the bottom forms, and needs to drain out. the
reason cement is so good for this is that it sets in a few hours, but
paper is the opposite.

encasing wet PC in a non-breatheable non draining form will not
accomplish your goal.

Now a rigid, but open weave form ( think plastic orange saftey netting
made rigid) could allow open air drying, but the bottom is constantly
getting soaked as new layers are added/ Mold could ensue for certain.

AND the bottom of the wall would be wet a long time.. not able to be
plastered, etc. so a lonnnggwait for a dry PC wall.

Casting a tilt up wall on the ground gives a lot more surface drainage
area, and that might work..as long as there is air wenting in the form
system.
