[papercreters] Tilt up -was- Re: New Member

Please keep in mind that papercrete does not gain strength until it
is fully dry. Depending upon local weather and climate this can take
a few days or several weeks. Handling papercrete that isn't dry
causes all sorts of problems. You won't be able to tip up panels
quickly.

Why are you avoiding your ideal idea? Casting the papercrete in
place or slipforming sounds reasonable to me. If you have some
equipment to help lift the slurry so you don't have to haul buckets
all the better.

I would go so far as to let the chain link be part of a form. The
fencing would then be on the surface of the papercrete, but it could
be a wonderful reinforcement for a stucco layer.
