I think papercrete would not pump too well through a 3" cavity if that's what you mean, and spraying would not penetrate the mesh much. Mikey Sklar made a double rebar/mesh shell and pumped pc into the gap, but he left 12" for flow. You could use chicken wire just attached to the surface, or even better use corrugated chicken wire like the ferrocement folks use. That way your spray could penetrate to the surface and the wire would give it support as it sets.
