Re: [papercreters] Jay Cleaning up our act.

Greetings,

The pictures I had are not on this computer, they may be archived
somewhere, but I am not sure.

One thing we did when we were using a tow mixer, was we had 4 fiftyfive
gallon drums up on a stand for soaking our paper. We could drive our
mixer under them, and dump a barrel of presoaked paper, 50 pounds worth
if I remember correctly into our mixer. We had our paper storage in a
cage, so the wind didn't cause havoc right next to it.

Our papercrete area stayed really neat when using this system. But, our
tow mixer didn't last.

At present, we are moving the entire setup to be under a roof. Either
is it too hot to want to be out there, or it is raining. Both of which
we find slow down production.

Laying out the area for efficient production is important to us. One
thing that came our way was some of those tube things from the back of a
concrete truck. We are looking at using them to move the papercrete
from the mixer to the forms. Our building will be strong enough to be
able to hang them, so they pivot.

I am interested in seeing what other people have come up with, as re
inventing the wheel is not my thing.

Bright Blessings,
