Most states and cities have hard and fast rules

Nebraska will not allow family burials on owned land you have to pay $15000 for cemetery upkeep even if you want it all natural

You can pay a funeral home to watch you prepare the body if you can find one

What a crock the Funeral Home guys have it all lobbied up

I just watched a short clip on eco or green burials. Interestingly, it
appears they are using some form of papercrete for the casket. And
importing them. Looks like a good local business for papercreters.<grin>
