Not to mention the weight. A 400# man does not weigh nearly as much as a 200 gallon mixer full, which is closer to a ton. I doubt most treadmills could support that weight, much less spin the wheels. The motor in a treadmill is not very large.

I think it is great to see all these alternative mixer ideas being discussed. If you have an idea, throw it out here so it can be attacked discussed. Many people here have already tried various things and can save you some wheel reinvention. As with all discussions it is good to draw your own conclusions and if an idea still seems good after being dissected here, then be sure to post pictures or videos of your success or failure so others can avoid or duplicate as appropriate.
