Terry,
I used to live in Lake Mead City, but moved about a mile further down on Charles (towards the cliffs) in 2006 to get away from the traffic and people. Here's a pic with snow a couple weeks ago:

Now that I saw your pictures we'll look into building a tow mixer again. There are a gazillion old trailers and vehicles around here (water haul) and we just met someone who welded a HUGE composter, he might be willing to help.
Once it gets hot in Havasu (won't be long), you might want to come up here for a day or so!

Christine,
Are you in Meadview, or Lake Mead City....? I looked at property around that area about a year before the real estate bubble. I almost bought some land in Lake Mead City, I love the huge joshua/yucca trees.
This is just a property wall Iâm working on, so it doesnât matter what I fill the tires with. And I made my own tow mixer without any help (except for a little welding) and Iâm a woman, itâs really not all that hard. There are a few pictures of making it in my photo album on the list, Terryâs photos - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/papercreters/photos/album/1004366456/pic/list .
