Yes it is small but there never any waste that well with me anyway. With a small batch there's less stress that you have to get it on the wall if your say plastering a couple of hours each evening after work.

It's tiny. Have you used one yourself? It's only 1.25 cubic feet. I'm not a
plasterer, but that doesn't seem like very much plaster to me. HF has a
bigger cement mixer which they put on sale periodically as well.
