I am not sure I understood, what is "Pozzolan"?
also, what i use is white cement, they told me this is what's called portland. On the package it doesnt says portland cement....
Is it ok?

The cellulose is fermenting. This is why I recommend to use Portland cement. The lime in the cement kills the ferment. Many will not use cement due to the co2 generated in manufacturing. This is silly since we are not far away from magnesium oxide and magnesium phosphate cement which will sequester co2. Using these new cements will be like planting a forest. For now we should use what works. Portland works and is even better if used with 15 per cent Pozzolan. Trying to use lime by itself usually results in a failure for the papercrete to dry. The energy saved over time by papercrete insulation far out ways the silliness of trying to be so green. The best mixes we know so far have been to make mortar, 1 cement plus Pozzolan to three of sand, then add paper. This group needs to move forward and understand that it not just about bricks and mortar, rather it is about the village that we must build. Also stop trying to do everything for free.
