[papercreters] Re: New to the Group! =)

Small symantic clarification.

Cement is a mixture of fired lime and clay ground into a fine powder.

Cement Mortar is a mixture of cement powder, sand, and water.

Concrete is a mixture of cement powder, sand, aggregate (small to
medium sized rocks), and water.

There are plenty of different variations of the above, but that's the
simple basics.

Papercrete typically uses paper and cement, but rarely (if ever) uses
any aggregate. So papercrete usually doesn't contain "concrete."

There are also many versions of papercrete, but again, that's the
basics.

Please don't take this as nit-picking. I want to be sure that we all
understand each other. A few of our members may not have much
experience and know the difference.

My humble opinion is that papercrete would be an exceedingly poor
exterior paving material, but I haven't tried it to know for sure.

Papercrete is a wood product. While a wooden driveway would
certainly be unique and work for a little while. Do you think a wood
driveway would last long?

Anyway, keep thinking outside the box.
