Re: [papercreters] insulated floor



Although I've never seen a earthen or clay floor there are is a lot of info on the net about them, people seem to really like them. From what I've read there is a problem that they are easy to "scuff or dent, but it's also easy to repair". I think they are beautiful and if I was in the position to have one I would.

The best thing about dirt or concrete floors is that they conduct the electrical charge of the earth. Not sure what latex and papercrete mixes will do to the conductive properties of the floor. David Wolfe talks about the health benefits.
