I think at this stage, the easiest way is to make small molds. That can be done inside.
Check the gif file for ideas on that.
Then you can use ordinary paper on the molds to create a template. Then the next part is simply scaling up the template. lengths will scale up relative to the height of the ball you use and the height of the cooking pot you use.
I have some old plastic sign material at home and I will probably make the first one from that material. I am going to do some work on the small molds today. Hopefully I am accurate enough,
