Actually, Dan's houses all have many features that only the real
expensive houses have, such as on demand hot water, water catchments for
flushing toilets, at minimum, if not for the whole house. The houses
are small, but usually, there is a work building/studio on the property
that is not small. Knowing what stuff costs in this part of the world,
the foundation for an adobe house with the gravel needed to put in
earthen floors priced out at over $30,000. Have you ever toured one of
his homes? I have seen every one of them.
