Yes, that third photo that spaceman cropped is beautiful. I will post a photo of the painting when I get it to the point that I feel is good to post. On the topic of photos I had a idea that I would go through the 250 photos I took at The First Papercrete Gathering at the end of Sept 09 at Judith's in Abiquiu, New Mexico. I know that spaceman posted the lot, they were very small and hard to see properly. I thought that I would go through these photos, pick out the best and start to post them in a bit of narration attached. I've asked spaceman and Judith to help me with the narration. The way I do these types of emails (I call them email journeys) is I send about 3 or 4 photos once a week. The reason I do this is because it's so much nicer to receive a few at a time instead of all of them at once. Would you like me to do this? If so I'll start to go through them and start to send them in and I hope that spaceman and Judith will help me talk about them. So send in your vote if you want this to happen. What I found inside looked a lot like Green Goddess salad dressing. That's because they are similar, oil and water emulsion. After letting the gears drip for a while, we flipped the mixer and I wiped the gears down as much as possible, trying to remove as much of the emulsion as possible. Since there are lots of places for the liquid to hide, it was impossible to get it all out without a complete tear down or better equipment than we had on site. When we refilled it with oil, topping it off as much as possible, we rotated the gears some and observed that some of the emulsion was being mixed into the new oil by the gears.
