Note that PVA glue is polyvinyl acetate. Apparently it can be made
water-resistant with additives, but basic PVA glue (Elmers Glue-All) isn't.

It's worth noting that PVA reacts with Borax (forms a viscoelastic
liquid, whatever that means), so mixing both into a PC batch could have
very unexpected effects. (Sounds to me like it's likely to gum up the
mixer. Ah... polyvinyl alcohol mixed with borax makes "silly putty"...
yeah, I'd say it gums up the mixer. :)

Thinned-down PVA glue is used to make papier-mache. I wouldn't worry
about it breaking down in a water mix. Don't know what it does when you
mix it with cement, though.

But I agree on the latter... if you're just looking to bond PC bricks
together, PVA is a poor gap-filler and way more expensive than using PC
itself. PC itself seems ideal for this job.

And as far as sealing, might as well use a product meant for sealing and
know what you're getting.
