Peat would probably do fine in a papercrete mixture. My main problem
with use of peat in a building would be that you are contributing to
the destruction of spaghnum wetlands. One of the main reasons I love
papercrete is because it is helping to keep waste paper out of the
land fills, thus lowering our carbon impact.

Obviously, different folks use papercrete for different reasons, and
I am not here to preach at anyone. =) Other than that, making sure
that the fibers are completely covered to reduce fire risks would be
my only other concern.
