Calcium chloride is interesting stuff. Used in all kinds of things.
Candy, waste water treatment, DNA introduction, bottled water, etc.
It may even be created during the PC process, if lime is present. We
don't really know as no one has documented that process yet.

Finding it has always been easy for me. Finding the time to read it
all, figure out what they were trying to say, make sense of what it
meant to me, and then test it all out I can never make the time for...

Erm. DEA is hygroscopic like calcium chloride, but lots more
dangerous. Not something I would want around in anything close to
pure form if I could avoid it.

See above for the carcinogens. heh.

As to your other idea, it may be a great system for someone in a
commercial outfit. As for me, I don't think it would be achievable
with stuff I can manage to keep around in my just outside the city
limits yard. =)
