[papercreters] Re: Newbie

Where do you get the idea that Papercrete is not for snow country?

Some of the oldest papercrete structures are in snow country in
Colorado. Kelly Hart, Andy Hopkins, Bette Heeftle, Virginia Nabity
and others all have papercrete structures there. John Calypso is one
of our members that lives in Colorado.

Judith Williams has commented that her raw, unsealed papercrete
blocks have been snowed. She reports no ill effects.

Papercrete might be most ideally suited to snow climates.

What's more Robert Merrill has a papercrete stuccoed strawbale system
that he's posted about frequently in our archives. Many of his
pictures are posted in our photos section.

Can you pass along a link to what you've read that indicates
papercrete performs poorly in snow?
