If you get decently high winds, then consider a curved or offset design for your wall. It is MUCH stronger versus cross wind forces.

Fences built in that manner have a strength that is roughly equivalent to a wall that is 2/3 as thick as the width of the offsets. You can research on the web if you need to know all the physics involved, I don't pretend to understand it all, but I get the general principles.
