[papercreters] casein in pc

Has anyone tested casein as a binder or additive in a pc mix ? Casein
is a natural protein from milk, and is an incredible adhesive. I know
of a company selling an exterior plaster compound using casein and
portland. The portland/casein mix has no loadbearing capabilities but
is weatherproof. I use casein in my milk paints, along with clays and
other natural materials, it creates a wonderful tough coating. It
cannot be removed with paint stripper. Your grandpa's barn was
probably painted with milk paint. There was some discussion of PVA,
and oddly enough that is what I add to improve adhesion and
scrubbability of the paint when dealing with painting slick surfaces.
Before I head off on this tangent I thought I would ask if anyone had
already gone down this path.
Many thanks.
