That's the stand for the mix barrel, to keep it above the slip form so gravity moves the papercrete. Sixteen pallets will make a 12' tall 4'x4' stable platform (assuming 4' pallets) with room for the barrel and to stand while mixing. The idea is to add a layer at a time as the wall goes up, to keep working height and amount of lifting to a minimum.

Not shown are safety rails and such niceties, nor the method of attaching the pallets to each other.

What is the picture of the pallets?  I love pallets and keep wondering what else I can use them for.  I have used them for concrete forms, enclosing a compost pile, a frame for screening rocks from dirt, and a few other little projects in the Caribbean.
