Re: [papercreters] Progress

The very first batch of PC I did with my tow mixer ten years ago went into a form with a single layer of 1" chicken wire as a bottom, and up on sawhorses. Water went through but the pc stayed. This will have 2+ layers so smaller holes. It should be no problem. A little pre-draining is helpful. If it didn't go through a horizontal layer of wire, vertical should work even better.

Yikes! That's pretty cold beans there!

Regarding the inside/outside, what is inside the inside to keep the slurry from flowing through the poultry netting?

I've started wrapping my dome frame with poultry netting, and got one window in place with temporary tie wires to hold it while the wrap is done. This netting will be the inside part of the form, with the outside part being slip form.

The weather guessers are saying that we're about to get hit with 20 degree mornings, and at my elevation I'm usually at least ten degrees below the "official" temperature, so it'll probably be a while before I start slinging slurry.
