Re: [papercreters] Reciprocal roof

When we get to that, I will let you know.  Right now, we are trying to get ready to put the roof on.

This is just the structure, like putting up rafters. Then you build a roof on top.  My roof will be papercrete with a petrified hessian cover.

Kim, sounds very interesting, I have worked with papercrete and burlapcrete as well but never combined them. Do you have any experience with that?

And wouldn't you get the same result just by putting some concrete slurry on top of the papercrete withhout using hessian.

I have waterproofed papercrete with epoxy resin and sand which works very good but gives a totally different surface.

Re: [papercreters] Reciprocal roof

Greetings,

Epoxy and sand would be hard to form gutters with.  We have a neighbor who has been doing the petrified hessian thing on earth bag construction.

We got the tripod up today.  An interesting challenge with only two people, but the Tundra works great as a third.<grin>
