[papercreters] Has anyone used an on demand water heater?

Hi
here is a similar thread going on a expat Yahoo group on the same
subject. (below)
When we first moved here, we rented a place that had such a show head, it is tankless. Water is heated by the electricity as it passes
over a coil (?) I guess..At first it seemed weird, but it works.
Most houses have them. It is the only hot water (shower) in the whole
house. Most old timers, have only cold water. All water is gravity flow,

Also I fine it nicer to click on Post/menu left side, with the thread
being talked about on the subject line, instead of using the "reply"
it cut down on all the "Posts" being attached, like for ever...

(from the Yahoo group in CR):

I don't like the shower heads that are
stationary where you have to stand under them and they can't be
pointed at an angle. I recently was looking for something to replace
a Zeus heater that I bought that was a dud from day 1 and I see that
Lorenzetti and other manufacturers now have several models where you
can direct the spray at an angle.

I bought a fairly lavish shower head with a foot wash, a huge
tropical shower head that points straight down, and a shower on a
hose where you can adjust the angle of the spray. I started out using
the huge shower head thinking it would be really cool, but I quickly
changed to the hose because I can adjust the angle when it's attached
to the pipe or take it down and point it wherever I want.

They also have heaters you can attach to a sink faucet to warm the
water and a shower head that has a pump incorporated for when you
have low water pressure.
