Re: [papercreters] Lifting P/C into Slip Forms

Jim we are coming up on a twelve foot section of our room and we use scaffolding to get up there. We had gotten a lot of paint in one gallon containers and they were the new plastic type, Ron took a pair of bolt cutters to grab on to the rim that goes around the top of it and pulled it off. This is what he hands the p c up to me to put in the forms with it has worked out great. However this method means you have to have a helper : )
You can view our Power point Presentation done for us by Bob The Builder , just go to files and look up Ron & Doris you will be able to see our project.

What's the best way to get the PC mix up into the slip forms when they get near the top of the wall when building a slip form wall?

I've read about different ways but shovels seem labor intensive and waste pumps and concrete pumps seem expensive!

Any ideas? Has anybody dealt with this problem?

I'm new to this group so you may have touched on this in the past.
Thanks!
Jim J
