formwork 1 is from a previous project, Shadow's house.

The rebar pin aligns and secures the vigas. It goes a couple of feet at most into the pc wall, nowhere near the ground. After the vigas were in place then a hole was drilled through both layers of logs and then the pin was driven into the dry pc wall. A small sledge hammer took care of that.

Did you pound the rebar through the wall after the fact?  And if so, how far into the ground does it go or does it?
