The more soaking the better, that drill will beat you up is it isn't soaked enough. Shredding first will make it easier, but still soak after shredding to make it easier. Good luck with your first batch. In NM pc with magazines and their clay coating qualifies as code approved adobe as long as your cracks fall within acceptable limits.
