[papercreters] Using a garbage disposal-grinder- yes been done

To the person who asked about the disposal. yes you can make a lot of
papercrete by grinding the paper in a disposal first-- it flows to a
bucket THEN you add cement and make the papercrete.

up at Lost Valley OR they used one, mounted outdoors to keep the
mess in the yard, and a big drum underneath took the paper pulp, you
add water as you are using the grinder, and it will burn out much
faster as it is not meant for continuous work.

www.lostvalley.org see lots of cordwood, and building, plus all the
organic food they do too. it is a teaching community

I visited and saw their ( large scale) grinder set up, they had made
hundreds of sheets of PC all drying under glass panes and had
plastered over a full pump house with it,

a home grinder will fail faster than a bigger industrial kitchen one..
so keep that in mind if you want to BUY On to larger projects,

this is WHY I love sawdust in my mix-- already ground up...if you live
near any place that trims plans, cuts wood, trees you can find a pile
of sawdust for free. a local wood toy and guitar factory here puts
out huge bags of sawdust .. I just take what I need-- most are
hardwoods. another small mill that cuts for people ha tons of
softwood redwood sawdust.
