I had not thought about something like that. Looks like something I might find at Harbor Freight for not too much. That should make things faster by using some of the spare capacity. I didn't see the pressure rating, though.
I updated the pictures at http://starship-enterprises.net/spraypercrete/ and moved the video to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPCp2mbJfT4 though they really reduced the quality. Like I said, it's not much, just dumping pc from a hole in a barrel.

__._,_.___As always, thanks for the update. I was rather more worried about splash back once I added the cement, but with most of the mixing done I am guessing the risk is lower. I use one of those plastic face masks that covers from forehead to below chin, because I have not yet acquired a discerning palette for newsprint pulp. I like your idea on the pre-filter. I will have to poke around on the web and see if I can find something that will fit right on the water inlet of the washer and just leave it attached. For the manifold, have you considered something like this: http://tinyurl.com/47398m My idea would be to mount the trigger mechanism above your barrel with this on the end of it. Then put 3 turbo nozzles on the manifold. Then attach a small belt around the smooth brass section above the 3 way and run it off either a small electric motor or (ideally) a small take off from the pressure washer it self (rather like the idea of a jet pump). - Ernie ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
