[papercreters] Re:Uniformed -Cured Blocks?

peddler said>>> and bake it dry? It seem great deal of the
problems are moisture related and that , if
possible would eliminate most of them.

IT IS NOT THE INITIAL DRYING TIME ( ALTHO MOLD CAN OCCUR IF TOO WET A
MIX IS POURED LATE IN THE SEASON WITH NOT ENOUGH CURE TIME TO DRY)
opps capps

it is the fact unprotectd blocks ( no matter how dry) will absorb
moisture in a rainy or humid environs, any flooding or rain/water
hitting the blocks will soak in, and need to dry out again, the
slower the dry the more issues.

for people in dry areas it seems impossible to have these problems,
but for those who live in a humid, always rainy/foggy environs you
KNOW how bad it can get. you can add lime powder ( hydrated lime) or
borax, etc. to the mix but it is not a full guarantee in wet areas.
